customer.service@richtree.ca, rmhr@richtree.ca, suthas@richtree.ca My electric eyeglasses were recently damaged by Marvel Entertainment during the filming of the Incredible Hulk. Their insurance company, Fireman's Fund, has been paying to get them fixed. Meanwhile, while I await this repair, I am currently wearing older eyeglasses that do not work as well. Today while visiting Richtree restaurant, in the Toronto Eaton Centre, I was using a hand-held camera as a magnifier and wayfiding aid. Many of the signs have poor legibility in small print that is faded and fuzzy, poorly written, in sloppy handwriting. I was able to read most of the signs by taking a picture and magnifying it on my screen while adjusting the tonal scale of the image. However, the General Manager informed me that taking pictures is not allowed. When I explained my use of the camera as a seeing aid, and asked what the problem was, I was told it was just "company policy". No explanation was given. I switched my camera to video mode to document the situation for use as evidence, which appears in: http://wearcam.org/richtree.htm This evidence will be needed to document any different treatment I might receive, on account of my eyeglasses not working, as I need this documentation for pursuit of the legal action I may need to take against Marvel Entertainment. It is necessary that I document any loss of quality-of-life, such as harrassment or being treated differently. Please advise what (if any) problem there might be, and what steps might be taken to address any potential problem. While this matter is being reviewed, I will need to keep an audiovisual recording from my older eyeglasses of any further interaction I have with, in, or near Richtree. This evidence is much like the surveillance cameras in Richtree, and both may be needed as evidence. Accordingly, I ask that you retain any surveillance data you might have of the incident, until this matter can be resolved. Best regards, Steve Steve Mann 330 Dundas Street West, M5T 1G5
