The first one, above, is something from natural childhood curiosity, at age 12, originally made out of junk (garbage) found lying around. So you can do this without any special equipment and without any lab space. It is designed to be simple for people of all ages, including children, to build at home. But it is also fun, and deeply profound in many ways.
