Introduction and Publishing Policy
Nature Publishing Group Reference is a new imprint for an exciting
programme of science reference materials, online and in print. Our mission is
to develop and deliver outstanding, dynamic resources for senior undergraduate
and graduate students, postgraduates and professional scientists. Designed
primarily for publication on the World Wide Web, we aim to provide up-to-date,
accessible, high quality, regularly updated content, written by top scientists,
within subject portals that link to many other valuable data resources.
Our projects range from 1 million to 12 million words in length, and a
single title can involve as many as 6,000 authors. Above all, we deliver
content of the same exacting standards as Nature.
We commission articles for our publications from leading members of the
scientific community, who also assist us in rigorous peer review and scientific
editing of all material.
