Subject: Re: Wearable Computer causes Decontamination Dilemma

Is there something that the general public can do to prevent this kind of
stupidity? It seems that once the government decrees that people should
do something "for the good of the country" that suddenly they are allowed
to do whatever they like to anybody, and it is acceptable!
Also, the comment by the policeman;
"The police spokesman said ``Computer geeks are the kind of people who
never played sports in school, and never got used to the idea of undressing
and showering in front of their team mates. When people refuse to undress,
this creates a serious problem. We need to bring back the good old days of
mandatory physical education in schools and mandatory delousing and
hygiene inspections. People got no business wearing computers.
Wearable computers are a stupid idea.''
This is just enraging, the authorities would rather sacrifice simple civil
liberties
and maintain conformity among citizens in order that the citizens may be more
easily controlled.
Can something be done to stop this?
