Using the frequency sampling FIR filter design technique
taught in class, design an FIR filter to approximate the
Butterworth filter with N = 6 and \omega_c = 0.7032 as in Example 7.2 from
the text. Compare the interpolated frequency and phase response from
your design with Figure 7.5 in the text. What order (i.e. value
for M-1) do you require before getting reasonable results?
Can you get reasonable results?
