The availability of these and other development/documentation tools makes it possible to use the OS-9 Wearable as an inexpensive, wearable development tool. By virtue of having the machine with the user at all times, spur of the moment brainstorming ideas can be quickly tested under a development environment, rather than having to key in code and test it later, when the user returns to his main workstation.

Provided that the cost of this platform is reasonable, it would enable software development groups to issue units to many of their developers, to aid brainstorming.
