It's a little cold out today (minus 17 degrees), so this bath is short ---- just long enough to play Summertime and House of the Rising Sun, etc..

This bathtub on wheels can go anywhere.

It has a built-in hydraulophone using the patented hydraulophone technology manufactured by FUNtain.

Fadeout Fadeout Little Star
---- variation by S. Mann, 2004

Fade-out fade-out little star,
now I wonder if you are.
Up above the world so high,
when these clouds are drawing nigh.
Fade-out fade-out little star,
Now I wonder if-you really are.

Bathmobile heating requirements

Here's a graph of time versus temperature:

Linear regression gives slope of -0.50158 which is approximately 1/2 a deg. F. per minute.

We had about 18 gallons in the tub, so that's about 180 pounds of water, which takes about 180 BTU to move up 1 deg. F.

To raise the tub temperature 1 deg. F. per minute would be 180*60 = 10800 BTU/h.

The heat loss is about half that, i.e. about 5417 BTU/h.

The propane powered Eccotemp L5 hot water heater delivers 37,500 BTU/h from a BBQ propane tank, thus running at .144455 of power, i.e. about one seventh full power.
